Lilla Dan's captain is Stefan Viid Jørgensen. For Stefan, the most important thing is that the guests have an unforgettable day, and have the opportunity to feel what life is like on a ship with such a fantastic history. And Stefan knows what he is talking about because he has extensive experience in both sailing wooden ships worthy of preservation and has also sailed with Soprano Yacht in international waters.

"Denmark is, after all, a strong maritime nation, and has been since the 17th century, and you can feel that when you step aboard ships like Lilla Dan. That is why it is also a very special feeling to sail around Copenhagen - you are stepping directly into a bygone era, which I am less likely to experience.

BACKGROUND

Stefans Viid Jørgensen graduated as a captain from Marstal Navigationsskole in 2021.
Stefan mustered from the Skoleskibet Danmark in 2013, after which he completed his military service on the Kongeskibet Dannebrog in 2015. Stefan has since acquired extensive experience in sailing on wooden ships worthy of preservation, e.g. he sailed in 2018-2021 with the schooner Maja.
