About Us
De Forenede Sejskibe in Copenhagen was established in 2010 with the aim of creating new experiences for both residents and visitors to the city, and at the same time give our proud maritime traditions a place in the Copenhagen cityscape.
De Forenede Sejskibe is a collaboration between two of the most well-maintained Danish schooners – the two-masted schooner Halmø and the topsail schooner Lilla Dan. During the sailing season, you can find beautiful wooden ships in front of the Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen, close to Nyhavn, where they are moored.
The ships are owned by Copenhagen Admiral Hotel and Rederiet J. Lauritzen respectively, and by entering into this collaboration, we have the opportunity to offer both ships for largescale, meaningful events.
The ships are chartered for everything from business meetings and team building to weddings and birthdays. In collaboration with SALT Restaurant, which is housed in the Admiral Hotel's old warehouse, we can also offer beautifully composed menus for the ships' events.
We are to make your ideas come true, and to launch a memorable and fantastic day for you.
OUR OFFER
The core of United Sailing Ships is to arrange amazing, unique and memorable events. We are lucky to have such authentic and beautiful settings to work with as Lilla Dan and Halmø. In addition to offering rental of our ships for events, we also offer short sailing trips with Halmø, and sailing cruises with Lilla Dan during the summer months of the season.

Katja Mønsted
Sales Manager – United Sailing Ships I/S
Katja Mønsted-Thuesen is responsible for the sale and planning of events aboard the two schooners. She is the first one you will meet in person, by mail or by phone when you want to host your event with us.
Katja has many years of experience in event coordination, planning and service.
Emil Lind Ankerstjerne
Captain Halmø - United Sailing Ships I/S
You meet Emil when you book a trip with Halmø - Emil is our captain at Halmø, and he has been at the helm since 2018.
Emil is a trained navigator from Marstal Navigation School and was previously the coxswain on Lilla Dan.
Stefan Viid Jørgensen
Captain Lilla Dan - United Sailing Ships I/S
You will meet Stefan when you board Lilla Dan because he is the captain of the ship.
Stefan is a trained captain from Marstal Navigation School in 2021. Sailed with schooner Maja in 2018-2021.
